One World, One Dream

Many of the Filipino athletes are already prepared and excited to start the Beijing Olympics. They arrived in Beijing on Wednesday as the opening of the world's most important competition approached its 48-hour mark.
Shooter Eric Ang was at the range and archer Mark Javier was off practicing as these two prepare for their competition on August 9. The two Filipinos were joined last Tuesday by 11 more Filipino campaigners who planed in with the Philippine delegation.
The only problem for these athletes is that they might overeat because Mcdonald's in Beijing is also 24-7 and is free for the athletes. The coach of these athletes said that they must stay in shape and siscipline themselves before the competition arrives.
Some officials tried to forget about the effects pf the haze or smog that was found in Beijing and they are telling the athletes to take good care of themselves because they might get sick because of this.
Athletes are told to drink lots of fluid to avoid dehydration. Some athletes told the people that the place is "masuok" and very hard to breathe for practice. Many of the Filipino athletes will not join the march because their competiton will not start on Aug 8 but on a later date.

We can see that beijing has really prepaid for this enormous event by making sure that the athletes are comfortable in every possible way aside from the fact that their air is hard to breath. But none the less is thus really come down to the disciple of the athletes to control themselves and adapt to the country.

Any ways I'll be cheering for Team Philippines.

The athletes can't really complain now. Beijing did an excellent job preparing the city for the Olympics. Everything there is simply breathtaking. And besides, it's part of an athlete's job to adapt to climate and weather.

Good Luck to all the Filipino Athletes joining the 2008 Beijing Olympics. They deserve our praise since they've trained very hard for this event. They go out there and compete for their country's pride amidst all the pressure they are in. May we win a Gold medal, but if we don't, we're still proud of our athletes! :)
