LTO favors lifting of drug test for drivers

source

NO SENSE? Are you sure in what you are saying? You know they do this drug tests to be able to minimize the situation of persons who drive and take drugs. You say that what if they take drugs after taking the test that's relatively easy to answer now instead of removing the drugtest is that they should do it annually or something like everytime people renew their licenses they have to take the test again. Now you say its just a waste of time and money, think for a second we are talking about the lives of other people here and their safety in the road is of a grave matter and for that simple reason it should be removed.

You should know that a lot of people would rather have drug-free drivers.

Dpat lng na may drug test. What the government has to do is to do it regularly. Siguro dpat upon renewing the license dpat mgpadrug test ndin. oo. cguro nga mgastos. pro i believe that it is needed. kung hindi mu afford magpdrug test e di wag kna mgkotche. tutal mahal na gas. mas lalong hindi mo afford. haha.

we should all remember that it's an IMPORTANT practice to have drug tests especially for the people driving in the road. maybe for you it's not important since you're not taking drugs. but for others, it's essential to know beforehand for the safety of the person and other people he might affect while on the road. it's still important to be alert and be prepared for whatever might happen.

This is a must you know.. If you are doing drugs and you are driving, you risk everyone's lives, even yourself! They should continue doing this but i highly doubt that they are doing the job greatly.

Drug tests is a must even if you do it when you get a license. Some people who have licenses may get to use drugs after get one. If this was implemented, then the drug users who drive vehicles would be gone.

the drug test can reduce the number of drivers who are taking the drugs, so it should not be lifted, but the problem is its just a piece of cake for the drug user to pass the drug test, that what make the drug test become no sense.

I think that the drug test in the LTO is useless, especially when there are a lot of corrupt people working there. People might just pay the drug tester to make the test result appear negative.
Having a drug test first before getting a driver's license is a good way to make the streets safer, but what is the use of this if the results of these tests could not be trusted.
I suggest the LTO should find a way to remove these corrupt employees and keep the drug test, just for added safety on the streets.
