The whole country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical Services Administration (Pagasa) said today in its 5 a.m. weather bulletin.
A Low Pressure Area was spotted at 2 a.m. today at 50 kms east of Central Luzon and a monsoon trough across Luzon.
The weather burea said light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and coming from the east over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms.
Taft Avenue was flooded in this week because of heavy rain. And still now, it is rainning. I do not know that is storm or typhoon. but I just pray that there would not damage to social foundations.

more rain?? ugh...i appreciate the cool weather but i feel sad because im sure that othe rpeople in our country would suffer from the cold weather and the floods...especially those who dont have houses...i remember seeing a family in the street where csb hotel is located...they just live in the streets..and imagine the days wherin the rain is so hard..i wonder what they do to seek shelter..sad..
and now the rainy season has come. expect heavy rains people. take extra vitamin c to boost your immune system and don't forget you umbrellas. just last week, taft ave., buendia and leon guinto were flooded. my colleagues and i were practically stuck in sherwood.

I agree with frosty for I was with her, and we were stuck in Sherwood. And for us to get there, we needed to pass through the ravishing rain and flood.
Let us all pray that when the typhoons come, the country will be safe and that no one would get hurt.
And just to be sure, especially us in Taft, always bring a jacket(with hood) or an umbrella. It is actually better to wear slippers than closed shoes because when closed shoes are used to walk in flood, (tsk, tsk, tsk), you wouldn't to have a smell on those feet of yours anymore.
Yey more rain. Means that it will still be long that we will experience cold weather. Also, it will help farmers for their crops because majority of the farmers here rely on rain. We don't have equipments for crops and majority of the farmers here in the Philippines come from the lower classmen. The sad thing about the rainy season is that it might overflow the roads and people will have a hard time going to work or going to school. :|
well, we should just persevere these weather conditions since we are in a tropicla country. it would be more difficult if we had four seasons. lets just bear with what can happen and is bound to happen.
