In Baclaran Annex High School, Paranaque City, a 15 year old boy accidentally shot his best friend when the he was demonstrating how the gun works. The boy used a "paltik” or improvised “pen gun”. Eventhought it wasn't a real gun, it was loaded with a real bullet. The gun fired when the suspect pulled the rubberband on the gun, killing the victim. The suspect said that he picked the gun from the gangs in Barangay Baclaran. The victim was declared dead when he arrived at the Santa Rita Hospital. The suspect will put into trial when he will be turning 18.

Such a sad story, and a sad ending for best friends.
This story shows us that children are not allowed to have access to life threatening material such as knives and bullets. In this story, we can see that the boy wasn't aware that a fake gun, with a real bullet can kill a person. But unfortunately, it did. The boy should have thought of different things, which could have happend to lessen incidents like this.
sometimes, mischief is not only fun. It could be very harmful to someone like this case.
We need to resist the urge play hard.
oh man, this is so beyond WAF-like. :( i feel sorry for the guy :(( dapat nag bahay-bahayan nalang sila diba?
What a tragic ending for the best of friends. The world is not enough? LOL. Killing each other. OMFGWTHROFLBBQPWND.
Next time, people should be careful with the objects they are playing because accidents, like death is inevitable..
I feel bad for the kid who had the gun. He didn't mean to kill his friend. Now he has to go on trial for something he didn't want to happen. At least he learned his lesson and hopefully does not hold a gun ever again.
violence is now affecting our youth! video games, tv shows and other forms of media are teaching the youth these
immoral and inhumane acts. it even got the best of the friendship of two people. i know that the news shows the violent daily happenings of our world, but its different since the news is informative, while other media (video games, movies, etc.) are encouraging us to become violent.
dahil sa curiosidad ng tao, madami nang napapahamak.. sa kaso dito.. may namatay pa at bka may mabilanggo pa.
first of all, how did that boy bring that thing inside the school? that goes to show how loose the security is in these kinds of schools. the security must be based on the type of students the school holds not the number of students there.
very sad story. But still, at age fifteen anyone should be able to know what is dangerous and what is not. This is another cause of gang influence among teenagers. I had a schoolmate ones who brought a gun in school. Let's just say it didn't end up too well for him.
i cant do that to my best friend, i cant believe that they are such people like this, super hndi makatarungan....
So sad.
I really can't blame the kid here. There are always some other forces making this kind of things happen. It may be family affairs, etc. By the way, how the hell did he even bring such a dangerous tool in school? Figures, the lack of security in schools is truly upsetting.
All schools in the Philippines should really be strict about bringing gadgets or any material that can case danger to the students, especially sharp objects and those that cause dangerous effects. Even if they're in school, they school officials should enforce a bag check. Students go to school expecting that there is safety there just being surrounded by fellow students. This kind of incident should be prevented!
this is an example that guns should not be played by the youth because it is really dangerous and can cause lives.
Awww, what a sad story.
Accidents are inevitable so we should be really careful of our actions and decisions. No matter how petty they are, we should be very prudent with them as they can affect our lives greatly. Basically, we should think before acting. It's okay to be curious and all but we should still be cautious with what we do. Being impulsive has its own consequences.
From this news, we can actually see that even teenagers now can have access to such "weapons" like this. Also, it is very irresponsible for this school to have allowed such objects inside. Inspection in every school should therefore be strictly enforced to prevent these accidents from happening. :)
How can the faculty or staff of the school not know about the students bringing deadly weapons? These days, students must be really guided by their parents with the activities they're participating in.
in the first place, why would he demonstate how it works? he's 15,doesnt he know that he could kill with a gun?.
it is such a sad story...
the victim is also poor but, the boy who shot his friend is also poor..
the boy will have a guilty conscience to the friend.
that is the reason why the old people ask them to do not touch the dangerous things. it make such like this story.
we always have to be careful and for the children also.
