They are also shifting from incandescent bulbs to energy-efficient fluorescent lamps. Families are recycling and reusing tap water, which really helps them lessen their water bills. People who find LPG too expensive to cook their food are using the old ways of Filipinos lives by shifting to wood, charcoal, rice husks or sawdust. People go back to basic Filipino meal like rice, vegetable, and fish, because even though they are cheap, these foods are also healthy and low in cholesterol.
