Congrats mga Bagong Nars!

source: http://www.mb.com.ph/MAIN20080725130662.html

I agree with queenbee. I hope that the new nurses would choose to stay in the Philippines. ^_^

Very good my fellow Filipinos. Now, there are more nurses in the Philippines; more people to assisst the people in need. I just hope they stay here even, though their income may be very small, rather than go abroad, where the income is a lot bigger. If they choose to leave, we will now have a shortage of nurses, which is a big problem for hospitals.

I hope these nurses will think more of the welfare of our fellowmen than to what they would get from their work. But i won't blame them if they work ouside especially nowadays that the world is about survival to the fittest.

Congratulations to the new batches of nurses that graduated. More nurses to tend the sick and needy. Sad to say is that most of these nurses will be leaving our country to work abroad. Since some countries pay high salaries for nurses compared to our country. We say to them that they should just work here in the Philippines to help our country progress but we cannot blame them for leaving. Filipinos are family people so most Filipinos would rather choose to help their own family rather than our country. We cannot blame them since our country does not give opportunities for these nurses. The truth is, it's our country's fault why these nurses leave.

My mom is one of the passers of the recent board exam. Congratulations to them all! I agree with quenbee but i am not against those nurses who left our country or who are planning to. The Philippines is in need of nurses but they are not the ones to blame if they leave. They need to survive and pay the bills. Unfortunately, they won't be able to do that if they work here. Maybe the government needs to find a solution to stop this problem.

Congratulations nurses! I hope they would be a great addition to the hospitals and be able to do good in every single way. LOL.
If they choose to leave the country, who could blame them? It's not their fault they want to achieve success, and they haven't found it here in the Philippines.

O mahina lamang talaga silang pumick-up?

Congratulations to the 27, 765 nurses who passed the licensure exam!

Yes, maybe most of these newly graduated nurses will go abroad to work, but we should not blame them. We all know that there are better and more opportunities, with higher salaries, abroad than in our country. These nurses are just like any other worker who wants to earn for a living. They also have families to help and support, which is, in the first place, one of the reasons why they work.

Although, it is sad to think that more and more nurses leave our country to serve other people, instead of their own kababayan, we should also consider their situation. :)

Seriously, they need to stop this crap. The world CANNOT be populated by nurses alone. There's also a limit on how many people are injured each day, you know? Job opportunities are closing right now and schools are even considering to stop the nursing course itself.

Yes, JUGO. Nursing is too over rated. It is advertized and generalized as a job that will earn a lot thus people take up nursing not because they want to but because it is the IN and COOL course.

Good job nurses! It is indeed good to hear that more Filipinos are passing the nursing exam. But the problem being raised up here is that a lot of these nurses find better opportunities abroad. It is best if they choose to stay and help our country rather than going abroad and leave his own country in its struggle to success. Sure, a better future awaits them abroad, but I believe the government should come up with incentives that will make thse nurses just reside here in the Philippines ..

the nurses should not go to other countries and stay here to help the country and make it better.

congratulations ulet.. :)

Congratulations to the board passers this year! Let us just hope that the government would increase their salaries because I heard that the nurses here in our country receives low salaries. I hope the government can do something about this so that our nurses don't have to go abroad and give service to other countries.

Good job to all those who passed. Let's just now hope that these nurses would be of help to our country and that they will understand the state of the Philippines.

I hope that everyone will realize that even if we have lots of nurses now, it is still possible to have a lack of nurses here in our country because these nurses prefer to work in other countries due to higher salaries.

But still, congratulations to all and may this bring good to all of us.
