Manila, Philippines -- De La Salle University avenged its recent loss to the University of the East by romping to a 70-62 victory in the 71st UAAP men's basketball competition Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Archers grabbed solo second at 6-2, while the Warriors remained at fourth place with a 4-4 slate.

WOOHOO! Congrats to us. I wasn't able to watch the whole game but from what i saw i think our team played quite well. We sure got them back for the previous game where we lost. At the start of the season i wasn't too confident that our team would get very far but now I'm slowly changing my mind. I hope they can bring the championship back home to us one more time : ) Animo La Salle!
Finally it seems that our chances to get our revenge on ateneo for their 1time fluke is getting bigger. Hopefully more of our la sallian brothers cheer for our team so that once again we would become champions

Hopefully they can win the championship again. Ateneo just got lucky the first time because la salle shot bad from the freethrow line, missing 17 big points. Ateneo won only by 7 points. Next time around, we can have are sweet revenge.

I'm sooo glad that the DLSU Archers won against the UE warriors! It's good that we won on the 2nd game, since we lost the 1st because of dlsu having four injured players. I hope that we can win the championship again this year and beat Ateneo!
