Are our politicians today really this ruthless?
I mean, have they forgotten why they are in their current positions? That is to serve the Filipino people, devoid of any hypocrisy or pretense. What happen to leadership? Is this what our current gov't officials made of?
And what happened to the NO RANSOM policy of MalacaƱang?
This makes me feel hopeless for our country.
p.s. nasa article last name ko. HAHA!!

Wow. Corruption strikes again.
In my humble opinion, the mayor who kept P3M isn't doing a good job of keeping his misdeeds a secret. I mean, keeping over half the overall amount? Someone is bound to notice that.
This kind of corruption happens all the time in the Philippines. I've lost all hope for this country. Until we get real politicians who do their job the way it should be done, that will not change.
When will this conruption end? You see during the election the nominated people are pretending to be nice and doing good things. In short, they're being "platic"!
Before the election they'll say all the good things, but after they are voted what happen is, they never do what they have said before. worst than that is corruption. It seems like don't even care about the country and the people who belive in them and trut them!
Officials should be the ones protecting the people from harm. Instead, what's happening presently is they are the masterminds of kidnaps and other deeds that harm people. This is so sad. They are the only people the citizens could have counted on. If they themselves, in the highest position of their area, do the merciless acts, what more will come from the bad citizens (e.g. criminals) under their reign? They would think that it would be fine to kidnap, hold-up, steal or even murder others because their mayor is one of them and would side with them. This may cause criminal rates to rise.
Not only that, if these kinds of news are heard by foreigners, they would greatly look down on the Philippines. They would not partner with our government because of the disgusting works they are known for. The economic status would not be helped. How frightening what politicians are able to sacrifice for the sake of their greed.
I think Mayor Isnaji kept 3 million of the rnasom to drilon's release. He may have benn the mastermind or simply an accomplice to the abduction of Ces drilon and her staff.
how will this country progress if our leaders are like these.
If that is really true, then Mayor Isnaji destroyed the name of his family. From now on, they will be remembered as "the family that snatched 3M in the release of Ces Drilon." I think there is really a minimal chance that the public can do to lessen corruption, because the solution to that problem of ours can be solved by politicians themselves.
the mayor kept 3 million because i think he is the mastermind for the kidnapping of drilon.
we should overcome and eradicate this corruption on the govt or else our country will continue in its downward path and also our people will suffer more.
Whoa! This is bad! The mayor could be the mastermind of this cruelty. But I also think that it is also the journalist's fault because before they went to Mindanao, they know it is dangerous out there. But it is a part of their job so i can't blame her for doing it. Corruption Corruption Corruption! Corruption never ends!
