Well now they understand how to be world class standard. For me it's a slightly bit late for this but as long as you keep trying to achieve who cares right? This is what's pretty much going on with the schools here. They're trying to achieve more and more to be schools capable of world class standard and I commend them for that. It's good that schools strive to be better and the filipino schools here are setting a good example for the developing countries. The only problem I see right now is the "brain drain" concept. Where people here go abroad and try to earn more money and pretty much just leave the country. Without those people which are I mean good enough to go abroad but we need those people to help us revolutionize a stronger upbringing of being world class standard. And of course, without research what can you truly know? If the teachers in class aren't updated, then in the real world we'll be pretty much doomed! So it is important to get enough research for the common good, and to help all of us with business to try to get on top of the business game. I believe that we need to find a way to support research at a higher level and try to be what we dream of being world class standard =)
Please comment everyone! It'll be highly appreciated! ^_^;;

It is good that our educational systems are getting better and better. Students are becoming more efficient and more productive in their studies.
But, there is a drawback to this.
Our students are so good, they apply for work abroad and are accepted. Which means, no profit for our local economy.
So, is our system of education TOO good? Only time will tell.
The most important thing is that the schools know how to train their students to become leaders of the country someday. Just like in DLSU, they provision to us the TRANSITIVE LEARNING than the TRADITIONAL LEARNING. I agree that education should also have high quality equipments and research tools so that we are updated and modernized. But sadly, students already have the perspective of going abroad to work that results to brain drain in our country.
Research is truly needed in business schools, because it train the person to search for different alternatives, like in research, where we find different sources to support the thesis statement. In addition, through research, an individual will be able to gain more knowledge and the skills for making papers.
it is getting better, right. but you can't tell people what to do. you can't blame them for leaving our country. the situation here is worsening. even I will leave this country if worse comes to worst. nobody is helping anybody anyways so what's the point?
i totally agree with hryan24 said that we should have research in business school. so that in the near future, we will have a good breed of businessmen and businesswomen.
I agree with the writer. Researches have to be made in order to form better methods of doing certain things such as business. I also agree that "Brain drain" is a serious issue. The government has to find a way to solve this issue, and the other issues involving education and the improvement of society as a whole.
