3 money changer workers to undergo lie test over P5M robbery

MANILA, Philippines -- The Manila Police District will work with the National Bureau of Investigation on the polygraph test of three men who claimed they were robbed of P5 million by 10 armed men in Ermita, Manila, on Monday.
Chief Inspector Benigno Macalindong, head of the MPD Theft and Robbery section, said driver Mueter Madjalis, 44, and messengers Koemedie Madjalis and Huniwatin Odin, who all worked for the Hermosa Money Changer on A. Mabini St., Ermita, have been set to undergo a lie-detector test to support their claim.
The three earlier showed up at the La Loma Police Station in Quezon City, to report that they lost P5 million to armed men at 9:45 a.m. at the corner of Orosa St. and Finance Road in Ermita on Monday.
The victims, who were carrying US$120,000 on board a Starex van, claimed they were blocked by around 10 men on a Toyota FX and Corolla while they were on their way to the Banco de Oro Binondo branch.
After taking the cash, they said the robbers commandeered their vehicle and dropped them off at the corner of Maria Clara and Speaker Perez Streets in Quezon City.
Macalindong wondered why the money changer would entrust a large amount of money to the three employees. Apart from the polygraph test, he said police would conduct an ocular inspection at the crime scene.

- well, as we can see here, there are really crooks in the country. i think it has just gone overboard. having to do these unforgivable actions are really depressing since it is presently seen in our country. this is how desperate people are, they would go through all the crimes just for them to get money for possibly thier personal or family costs. well, the country relies on our generation, and i hope that we will start to make things right.

Well, here goes another one. Another story to prove that people are resorting to crime because of how hard life is here in our country.

P.S.
Honestly, I don't really trust the lie-detector test. It's kinda easy to fool it and give off false results.

yea, i agree with you. the lie-detector test can be easily fooled. and its just so hard to earn money in our country that's why people do crime. with good leaders, we'll have better lives. crime rates will surely go down. crimes like this will stop.
