OFWs and other Asians who worked for a local catering and maintenance company are stranded at Riyadh for months. Without food, water, and electricity, the workers are slowly dying and need help from their respective countries as soon as possible. Also some of the workers have no passports because their employer withholded them. So they need to contact their respective embassies for help as well.

we should really help the OFWs cause they are the ones who contribute in the progress of the peso vs. the dollar..
There should be a crime involved in that scenario. Whoever punishes the employees must be put to jail! He doesn't understand that life is delicate and it is a gift and you just can't put that away. If people knew that they are stranded then, aren't there any volunteers to help the poor people out? Also, can't the people think any other alternative for eating? Like plants or something? It's sad that these people are having a hard time and they're slowly dying.
&#$%*@!!! bakit ganun? ang hirap na nung buhay nila dun tas ganun pa. living far from their family is hard enough. manny villar, bigyan mo din sila pamasahe pauwi!
Our OFWs are going abroad, working just to support their families and give them a brighter future, and yet this is the treatment they get from their employers. These employers should face criminal charges but they possibly don't and the only thing we can do is get back our fellow Filipino without asking for some justice.
awts. that sucks. we should send help! we never know if we'll be the next one that gets stranded there! at least, by helping, they'd know that there are people who still care for them and they'd have more hope. They'd have something to long for and they won't grow depressed and think that nobody cared for them anymore.
It is not right for those employers to be witholding the passports of these OFWs.
Something must be done.
In the meantime, why cant we help out? .maybe send some help through the government or someone of high authority,
These OFWs went abroad to work for their families and this is what happens to them. Tragic...
the Filipinos are the one giving money to our country but still they are not the one taken cared of, this is how our government gets worse, they don't know what to be taken care of.... I think this issue will scare the hell out of the OFW...
Our government should help our OFWs, because they are the ones that helps our country survive financially, through their remittances.
I hope our government realizes that they should put their best effort to help and support our OFWs; after all, they are our life support.
