Wow! Ang super lucky naman if ever someone from the Philippine team wins that Olympic gold. I mean, 15M?!? You can buy a house and lot and a car and start business and buy the whole Zara Man. haha! Good luck to all our athletes competing this August in Beijing, especially Miguel Molina, the swimmer. Haha! I met him in person, for like three nights. Long story. haha! anyway.. Good Luck!

It's good that PGMA will be giving a big amount of price money. It can be another motivation for our athletes. But, I think that is not the best motivation for them because the country's honor is more important than any amount of money. :D

WOOHOO! Bring pride to our Philippines! WE NEED IT.

I hope that our athletes would do their best especially now that our president is giving a big amount of money for a gold medal.

the athlete who wins gold will really deserve to receive the incentive. The Philippines has been longing for an olympic gold for ages!!!

i think 15m is a big amount to be given to the player's who will win the olympic gold. that amount can benefit other, more needing people.

I believe that it is a wrong move for arroyo to raise the incentive to 15m. I mean we already have a lot of debts to other countries and yet, arroyo is giving out money and where did she get the money? From our pockets! from VAT! she has no right to raise the price! It's okay to give money for the gold winner but she is exaggerating. She should know her limits. 10 Million is enough to motivate the Filipinos.

Wow 15M to give the country some honor. Its right for these hardworking olympians to get an incentive, it may be to improve the image of our nation too.

15 million looks like too much for these athletes, however we forget how hard they work for it. The big question is, if the government is really supporting our athletes or not. They don’t need the incentive rather the support from the government on athletes’ training program.
