It is said in this article that,Inflation rose to a 14-year high in June on the back of soaring prices of oil and basic goods. The market has been expecting double-digit inflation rates due to the runaway global oil prices, which reached $143 per barrel this week. Secretary to the Cabinet Saludo said MalacaƱang is alarmed by the impact of the skyrocketing crude prices on inflation and that it’s working with private groups and industry leaders to address the problem.
This is really bad news for the country. With the inflation rates soaring, people will have a hard time living their lives. It is like every time we watch the news, all the prices of goods just keep soaring. Some possible causes of the soaring inflation rate in our country is the wrong circulation of money and a product becoming more in demand. Since the MalacaƱang already released a statement about this issue, I just hope that they would be able to do something about it. Before its too late.
Although the Philippines is not the only country burdened by high inflation, it is one of the hardest hit by soaring oil prices because it imports all of its oil requirements.

Intense! :O The government should do something about this... fast! I mean, it gets harder and harder here. With the problems today, more people might choose to migrate.
grbe.. parang lalo pa mwwalan ng pag asa mga pilipino na uunlad pa ang pinas..
Now that inflation in the country is unstoppable and cannot be controlled by our government anymore, we Filipinos have no more option but to lessen our expenses (or in simple words magtipid) and lessen the use of cars to lessen our use of gas.
Continuous soaring of prices greatly affects the lives of many Filipinos. With prices of commodities continually increasing, less Filipinos can buy their basic needs such as food and clothing, and more people will be rallying in the streets due to the increase of transportation fees.
In a country where poverty is seen everywhere such as the Philippines, it is very important for the government to do some actions to help Filipinos sustain themselves.. They must be completely aware and sensitive of how Filipinos react in this matter. But the problem is, more Filipinos are losing hope because of the many problems that we face today, and because of the fact that our country is being led by corrupt leaders.. how sad! :(
STOP TO INFLATION!!
Maglakad na lang kasi kayo. =P
But seriously. Ang taas na ng presyo ng gasolina. Kaya nga siksikan sa MRT/LRT diba?
Philippines is one of the poorest country now. Then here comes the high inflation of everything! What will happen to our country? It is a corrupt country and also has a high poverty rate. Filipinos already have a hard time in surviving because of high prices in goods that resulted from the high inflation of the gas. How will our economy improve?
It's sad that everything is increasing in price. COnsumers are the ones greatly affected. It's not too late to improve on this problem. it just needs cooperation by all citizens. We are the ones contributing to this crisis. With this problem, it is going to be hard for foreign investors to come here to the Philippines to invest. With our economy today, they can possibly think they they can get better opportunities from other countries.
the govt should do all they can to make the people's life more easier.
corruption has taken its tall..and we are really feeling the great effects of it...people should really start to change,or else nothing will happend to us..
